CREWBaltimore has again partnered with Junior Achievement of Central Maryland in their latest Virtual initiative- “JA Virtual Shark Tank”. The Shark Tanks are a component of JA’s Rising Women Program, which is a unique afterschool opportunity for female high school students (grades 9-12), who are interested in exploring their entrepreneurial potential. Over the course of 8-14 weeks, students will manage, operate, and execute a full-fledge company, and the shark tank is the kickoff to pitch their ideas and gather valuable feedback.
Volunteers are needed to serve as a panelist (“Sharks”) to listen to the ideas, ask questions and provide feedback from a business standpoint. The entire event is Virtual. The sessions will run 45 minutes. You may sign up for one session or multiple. You may be on a panel of all CREW members or get paired up with volunteers from other companies/organizations.
Please reach out to Eloise Potterfield, Outreach Chair, to volunteer.
Thank you for considering assisting to make this unique experience come to fruition for these students.
